IAIP is developing leaders, influencing careers and connecting members through providing enhanced education,
building strong, dynamic communities, and delivering exceptional resources for members.

Insurance Professionals serves its members by providing professional education, an environment in which to build business alliances and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry.

Membership is open to all professionals in the insurance and risk management industries who strive for and
practice professionalism, regardless of their career level.

We foster and encourage diversity, offering a network for members in all career categories, all lines of insurance
and all cultural and diverse backgrounds.

We promote mentoring, acceptance of change, personal growth and flexibility of participation.

The governance and the operational management exist to enable the association to carry out its mission.
 
Membership – We will promote membership with diversity by career levels and functions.

Education – We will have education programs developed and delivered at various levels of learning in multiple
fashions to individuals, groups and by media targeted internally and externally.

Leadership – We are known for providing a forum for the development of leadership skills for our members and
the industry.

Partnering – We develop business relationships with other organizations and associations that are mutually
beneficial.

Technology – We optimize the use of technology to improve quality of service, increase productivity, maximum
membership benefits and increase visibility in the industry.

Vision – Insurance Professionals is best known for providing insurance education, skills enhancement, and leadership development to its members.

Value Proposition – Insurance Professionals is developing leaders, influencing careers and connecting members through providing enhanced education, building strong, dynamic communities, and delivering exceptional resources for members.
The International Association’s organizational structure consists of four levels spanning the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and other countries. Each level conducts meetings, elects officers, appoints committees and provides numerous opportunities for involvement and leadership.
 
International: The Corporate center is in Atlanta, Georgia; annual National conventions are held each year in a different part of the country.
 
Regional: There are 9 geographic regions – we are members of Region I which encompasses all of New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; annual Regional conferences are held in a different state each year.
 
Council: (formerly state level): Rhode Island Council – our October monthly meeting is normally designated as the “Council” meeting.
 
Local: Split by local areas within the state – since we are “Little Rhody”, we only have one local association.
 
Locally, we offer Continuing Education credits, monthly meetings with speakers to educate you personally and professionally, a community service project and even some enjoyable non-industry related functions. Feel free to peruse our website and get acquainted with what all we’re all about.
